Program Support Coordinator
Employment Type: 50-100% starting March 2025
This position is initially offered as a 6 months maternity leave replacement, with the potential for a permanent role thereafter.

The Israel Lemonade Fund provides critical one-time grants to needy Israeli breast cancer patients, offering essential financial relief during their treatment journey.
Position Summary:
The Program Support Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing all aspects of grant management, including handling patient applications, administering the grant approval process, initiating, managing and handling all communications with social workers and the application review committee. The Program Support Coordinator maintains applicant records and supports the organization’s administrative needs.
Work Environment:
This position is a remote-based position and involves a combination of administrative office work, database management, and interaction with all other team members as well as with social workers and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Grants Management:
- Manage the end-to-end grant application process, from receiving applications to evaluation and approvals.
- Serve as the primary contact for social workers applying for grants on behalf of their patients. Communicate with social workers to address questions, request additional documentation, or provide updates on application status.
- Review grant applications for completeness, ensuring all required documents are submitted.
- Prepare materials for the monthly grants committee meetings.
- Draft and send notifications to social workers and grant recipients regarding application outcomes.
Administrative Duties:
- Ensure timely processing of grant payments and manage all records related to financial disbursements.
- Issue receipts promptly and accurately.
- Database management- maintain up-to-date and accurate records of applicants in the organization’s database.
- Ensure accuracy across all platforms.
Professional Relationships:
- Initiate, build, maintain, and nurture professional relationships with social workers.
- Act as the point of contact for all inquiries, ensuring responses are sent in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree – preferable in Social Work or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in administrative software and tools (Monday.com, Excel) or willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal Hebrew and English.
